Summary: We needed somewhere to unwind that we could also take our three fur babies. Couldn't have asked for a better escape! The sunrises, the sunsets, The horses right out the window. Just enough modern convenience blended in to an 1880's escape. Our fur babies loved the walks of the gravel driveway every morning and night. The horses would come over to greet us. Cuddling up to a warm fire was just the perfect touch to end each day. We plan to come back!

Summary: We were expecting an old cabin located on an open space. We were amazed beyond our imagination with the cabin. It is incredible. the location wasn't as open as we thought, but it was beautiful. Very relaxing location. Cabin was full of a lot of stuff from dishes, bedding, games, and even some food. Very happy with our stay. Would definitely rent again if we get back tothat area.

Summary: It was filled with rustic charm and modern amenity made to look rustic. They provided plenty of sheets, Quilts, towels, and bathrobes. Beds for 5 to sleep comfortably and a rollaway or couch for extra. Very relaxing, close enough to local shops and towns. We had a good time.

Summary: 1880s cabin was awesome, handmade logs, handmade doors, handmade tables, great stay overall, could use a good spring cleaning (cobwebs, stove, trash needed emptied, grill and gutters overflowing with leaves, etc)

Summary: This was an amazing stay! There was 7 of us staying and we were all comfy with plenty of room! Very rustic and peaceful with great modern amenities. Just enough creature comforts to not feel like you are roughing it. We spent most of our time outside on the porch, by the fire pit and walking the property. The horses, cows and one lone fuzzy pig were fun to watch and talk to! This is a great place for a couple and/or a family to get away and unwind!

Summary: Wonderful 1883 Cabin stay! If you want a rustic stay on Jonesborough, this is perfect for you. We had luxurious towels and some excellent kitchen appliances mixed in with the old fashioned charm of living in the real history of the area. The landscape, birds, horses made every bit of our time on the porch so special. Our host was excellent and made the times we needed to communicate with him comfortable.

Summary: If you love old homes then stay here! It is wonderful! You get the peace and quiet of the area and the feel of being back in the 1800’s. You still have the modern day luxury items you want. The bed downstairs isn’t very comfortable, it is a little dusty but we would stay again. He had done a great job with this home.
